Black Lung Screening Events
At Lungs at Work, we know that many miners live far from our McMurray, PA office, so we bring our services closer to you. Our outreach screening events offer many of the same high-quality tests you receive during your annual lung evaluation, including confidential breathing tests performed by our experienced team and a prescription for a chest x-ray at a local facility.
These events also give you the opportunity to take advantage of our benefits counseling services if you’re interested in learning about the Federal Black Lung Benefits Program. Whether you are checking your lung health, updating your baseline, or exploring your benefit options, we’re here to make the process easy and accessible.

Pulmonary screening breathing tests
Pulse oximetry and six-minute walk tests to check oxygen levels
Prescriptions for chest x-ray, which will then be interpreted for black lung disease
Department of Labor Black Lung benefits counseling and application assistance
All testing will be billed to your insurance. Copies of the test results will be forwarded to your primary care physician and sent to you. If you would like to discuss your results with Dr. Celko, we will schedule a time for him to call you.
